The Captain Lawrence is located direct on the Shining Sea Bikeway, possibly the top scenic bike path on the Eastern Seaboard. It runs from our front door to the Steamship Authority ferry terminal in Wood’s Hole, where one can conveniently hitch a ferry ride, with or without your bikes, to Martha’s Vineyard.
We’ve combined the bike trip with a half day on a kayak paddling around a secret estuary, one of our favorite spots on the Cape.
